How to Register on WPT Global: Sign-Up Guide (2026)

Check that you are allowed to play

Real-money play on WPT Global is limited to adults: 18 is the minimum, or a higher age where local law demands it. The room is closed to residents of many countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Russia and India. Canadians can join from every province except Ontario.

The terms treat any attempt to hide your location — through a VPN, a proxy or a location-spoofing app — as a breach that can end with the account closed and the balance held.

Install the official app first

WPT Global runs as an installed application rather than a browser lobby, so registration starts with the download. Windows users get an .exe installer, the Mac version comes as a .dmg, iPhone owners use the App Store, and Android players download an APK from the official site. A computer needs at least Windows 10 or macOS 10.14, roughly 500 MB of free space and 3 GB of RAM, with 4 GB recommended.

Take the installer only from the room’s own download page or the App Store listing published by Kashxa Limited, WPT Global’s payment agent.

Opening the account step by step

The registration form in the app asks for just four core fields:

1. 1Launch the WPT Global app and press the registration button on its start screen.
2. 2Enter an email address you check daily — security codes, verification links and notices about rule changes all arrive there.
3. 3Choose your country of residence — where you actually live, not where you are travelling.
4. 4Pick a username, which also becomes the name opponents see at the tables, so keep it neutral.
5. 5Create a password of at least eight characters mixing uppercase letters, lowercase letters and digits, as the terms require.
6. 6Read and accept the terms, confirm that you are of legal age and complete the form.

Personal details: Latin letters only

Before the cashier lets you deposit or withdraw, WPT Global asks for your first name, surname, full address with city and postcode, phone number, gender and date of birth. The terms state that these must be typed in Latin characters — Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic and other scripts are not accepted — and documents sent later for verification should show the same spelling.

Copy your name exactly as it appears in the Latin line of your passport: a transliteration that differs by a single letter from your ID is enough to pause a payout.

One account per person

Each player may hold only one WPT Global account; a duplicate gets blocked, and the room may keep deposits, winnings or bonuses collected on it. Promotions, the welcome package included, are also limited to one person per household or device, which matters when relatives share a laptop.

Never let anyone else play under your login: the terms count every action taken with your credentials as your own.

After sign-up: first deposit and limits

The minimum first deposit is $10 in most regions, and any first payment from $10 to $3,000 starts the welcome package without a code. Half of that deposit comes back as cash through poker rake within 60 days, the other half through the casino, with tournament tickets added on top.

Settle on a monthly poker budget before that first payment, not after a bad session. If you ever want a break, support can restrict the account for the period you specify, and the responsible gaming page describes longer self-exclusion.
