How to install PokerStars on Windows

Download the installer, run it and log in to PokerStars on a Windows PC — 4 steps.

    Download the installer

    Open www.pokerstars.com and press Download — on a computer the PokerStars installer for Windows (.msi file) starts downloading straight away.

    Open the downloaded file

    Open your browser downloads and run the installer file.

    Confirm the launch

    Windows may ask whether to run the file. Make sure it came from the official site and click Run.

    Setup wizard — Next

    The PokerStars setup wizard opens. Choose a language and click Next.

    Accept the licence agreement

    Tick that you accept the licence agreement and click Next.

    Installation folder

    Keep the default folder in Program Files — updates work best there — and click Next.

    Click Install

    Click Install and wait about a minute. If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.

    Launch the client

    A PokerStars shortcut appears on the desktop. Open it, let the first update finish and log in or sign up.

Requires Windows 8 or later (Windows 10/11 recommended), a 3 GHz processor and free disk space.
