PokerStars Power Path: From $0.50 to the EPT
Power Path is PokerStars’ ladder of step satellites that turns a $0.50 Spin & Go into a seat at the EPT or the biggest online tournaments. There are four Steps and four prize Passes, from $109 to $10,300. Below: how the Steps work, what each Pass is worth and the rules to know before you start climbing.
What Power Path is
Power Path launched in June 2023 as a single qualification route to PokerStars’ major events, live and online. Instead of separate satellites for each festival, you climb up to four Steps and win a Power Pass to spend on the event you choose.
Since April 27, 2026 there are four Passes: Spade ($109) for $109 online tournaments such as the Sunday Million; Bronze ($530), usually ticket bundles for online series; Silver ($2,500) for regional live events or the biggest online tournaments; Gold ($10,300) for any European Poker Tour event or the top online events.
The four Steps
Step 1 is a $0.50 Spin & Go with 8% rake, available on demand. Step 2 is a $1 Sit & Go or a $1.50 MTT, Step 3 is an $11 MTT, and Step 4 is a $55 MTT that can only be entered with a ticket. Win a Step and you get a ticket to the next one; Steps 1 to 3 also accept direct buy-ins.
The Step 1 winner’s prize is drawn at random. Per the official table, about 64% of draws give a $1 Step 2 Sit & Go ticket, 35% a $1.50 Step 2 MTT ticket and 1% an $11 Step 3 ticket. Passes can drop straight away too: Spade with odds of 1 in 2,500, Bronze 1 in 20,000, Silver 1 in 100,000 and Gold 1 in a million.
Most Passes are decided at Step 4: the winner can take Gold, and other top finishers get Silver, Bronze or Spade.

Tickets, Passes and expiry
Everything lives under the Power Path tab in the client and mobile app: the Steps, your tickets and the Passes tab where prizes are redeemed. Tickets also appear under Tournament Tickets in My Rewards.
Step 2 to Step 4 tickets expire a year after issue, and a won Pass is valid for 18 months. Tickets and Passes cannot be cashed out or transferred. A live package covers only what it lists; visas, travel documents and insurance are up to the winner.

Free Step 1 tickets
Under the Power Path terms published in 2026, PokerStars Rewards members at Blue or Bronze Chest level can claim one free Step 1 ticket a day by raking any amount in a cash game or a cash buy-in tournament. The ticket arrives in a Chest that must be opened within 24 hours and is valid for seven days.
Reviews differ on whether this daily offer is still running, so check the Power Path page or the client for current terms before relying on it.
How it compares with other rooms
Step 1 resembles lottery Sit & Gos such as 888poker’s BLAST, WPT Global’s Global Spins or Winamax’s Expresso, but instead of a cash multiplier you win a ticket for the next Step. The nearest equivalent elsewhere is ACR, whose satellites to The Venom start from free.
What sets Power Path apart is the live-event link: a few dollars can lead to a $10,300 EPT package. GGPoker’s headline extras are cashback and jackpots such as the Bad Beat Jackpot and All-In Fortune rather than a single step ladder.
Who it suits and how to approach it
Power Path suits micro-stakes tournament players and anyone dreaming of a live EPT without a four-figure buy-in. The odds are long, so treat it as cheap entertainment with an outside chance, not as a plan.
Set a monthly budget for Step buy-ins and stick to it: repeated $11 direct entries add up quickly. Play only with money you can afford to lose, and remember that most entries win nothing beyond the next ticket.
FAQ

Step 1 is a $0.50 Spin & Go. Steps 2 and 3 can be bought into for $1, $1.50 or $11; Step 4 at $55 is ticket-only.
02What can a Gold Pass be used for?
The $10,300 Gold Pass covers any European Poker Tour live event or a bundle for PokerStars’ biggest online tournaments.
03Can I sell a Pass or take cash instead?
No. Passes and Power Path tickets are non-transferable and have no cash alternative. A Pass expires 18 months after it is won.
