ACR Elite Benefits: Ranks, Rank Points and Combat Points

Elite Benefits is the loyalty program of ACR Poker, built around six military ranks. Rake and tournament fees earn Rank Points that decide your rank, and the rank decides how fast you collect Combat Points, the currency that turns into cash.

What Elite Benefits is

Every real-money player at ACR is enrolled automatically and starts as a Lieutenant. The program runs on two kinds of points: Rank Points, which only measure your progress, and Combat Points, which are spent in the store on cash.

One detail matters before you start: players on a separate rakeback deal are excluded from Elite Benefits.

Ranks and Rank Points

You earn 5.5 Rank Points for every $1 of rake or tournament entry fees The lower ranks are monthly: Captain needs 750 points a month (about $136 of rake), Major 3,000 (about $545) and Colonel 7,500 (about $1,364).

The top two ranks are counted over the calendar year. General takes 100,000 points, roughly $18,000 of rake, and 5-Star General takes 1,000,000 points, roughly $182,000.

Combat Points and the cash store

For each Rank Point you also receive Combat Points: 1 as a Lieutenant, 1.5 as a Captain, 2 as a Major, 2.5 as a Colonel, 3.5 as a General and 5 as a 5-Star General. Larger store packages pay a better rate but need a higher rank.

The smallest packages are 100 points for $1 and 1,000 for $10. Captains can trade 4,500 for $50, Majors 25,000 for $300, Colonels 50,000 for $600, Generals 100,000 for $1,500 and 250,000 for $4,000, and a 5-Star General 625,000 for $10,000.

By our own calculation from these prices, the cash return grows from about 5.5% of rake for a Lieutenant to about 16% for a Colonel, about 31% for a General and about 44% for a 5-Star General. Reviews quote higher totals, up to around 65%, once medals and other promotions are added.

Keeping your rank, medals and resets

Monthly ranks have to be earned again: to keep Captain, Major or Colonel you need the same minimum the following month. General and 5-Star General are guaranteed until 1 March of the next year; after that a General needs 7,000 points a month and a 5-Star General 45,000, or they drop a rank.

Medals of Achievement add one-off cash bonuses at Rank Point milestones during the year, starting at $10 and rising to five figures at the very top. Rank Points reset on 1 January, medal progress at the end of December, and unused Combat Points expire on 31 December if you earn no points during the year.

Program points cannot be used to clear deposit bonuses, and ACR can revise the program, so check the current table on the promotions page or in the client.

Elite Benefits against other loyalty programs

GGPoker’s Ocean Rewards runs from about 16% to about 80% cashback. 888poker pays weekly cash-game rakeback from 5% up to 50%, PokerStars Rewards hands out chests, with invite-only Select tiers said to return about 50–60%, and WPT Global gives a flat 30% in PLO cash games.

Elite Benefits stands out at the bottom and the top. A small player gets very little, since the best rates are locked behind high ranks, while a 5-Star General gets one of the steepest returns among US-facing rooms.

Who it suits and how to use it

The program pays off most for grinders who play every month and can reach General within the year. If you only play now and then, keep in mind that the monthly ranks reset, and treat the small cash returns as a pleasant extra.

Save Combat Points for a larger package if your rank allows it, because the rate improves with size. Do not raise your stakes or volume just to hold a rank: rakeback reduces the cost of playing, it does not pay for losing sessions. Set limits and stick to a bankroll you can afford to lose.

FAQ

01How many Rank Points do I get for $1 of rake?

5.5 Rank Points per $1 of rake or tournament fees. Your rank multiplies them into Combat Points, from 1x for a Lieutenant to 5x for a 5-Star General.

02How do I turn Combat Points into money?

Exchange them for cash in the Elite Benefits store. The smallest package is 100 points for $1; bigger packages pay a better rate but need a higher rank.

03Can I lose my rank?

Yes. Captain, Major and Colonel must be re-earned each month. General and 5-Star General are protected until 1 March of the next year, then need a monthly minimum.

04Can I combine Elite Benefits with rakeback?

No. Rakeback players are barred from the program, though ACR allows a one-time switch through customer support.
