888poker BLAST: Jackpot Sit & Go up to 10,000x
BLAST is 888poker’s lottery Sit & Go: three players, a fast structure and a prize pool drawn at random before the first hand. Most games are worth twice the buy-in, but the top multiplier is 10,000x. Here is how BLAST works, what has changed recently and how it compares with similar formats.
What BLAST is
BLAST is a three-handed, super-turbo No-Limit Hold’em Sit & Go. Buy-ins on the international site run from $0.10 to $100: the official page lists $0.10, $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100, while PokerNews coverage in 2025 also mentioned $2 games.
Once three players have registered, a random draw reveals the prize pool, anywhere from 2x to 10,000x the buy-in. The 10,000x result is the jackpot. Most games are over within a few minutes.

How to play, step by step
In the desktop client or the mobile app, open the BLAST tab at the right end of the lobby tab bar, choose a buy-in and the number of games you want to enter at once. BLAST is not available in the no-download browser version.
When the table fills, the multiplier spins and reveals the prize, and the game is then played down to a winner. Higher multipliers bring more starting chips and longer blind levels, so the big games leave a little more room to play.
BLAST used to end with a countdown, after which every player was all-in each hand. According to PokerStrategy (February 2026), 888poker has removed the timer and the all-in phase, and BLAST now plays out like other lottery Sit & Gos. Check the game info in the lobby for the current structure.

Multipliers and payouts
Small multipliers dominate. According to figures published by PokerNews in 2025, about half of $1 games and slightly fewer $20 games are drawn at 2x, while the top multiplier comes up roughly once in a million games.
The payout structure depends on the draw. By the same coverage, at 2x, 3x and 5x the winner takes everything; at 10x and 25x the top two split the pool 80/20; from 100x up all three players are paid, 70/20/10. The exact table is shown in the client.
Odds and structures can change, so check the current BLAST info in the client and on the 888poker promotions page before playing. Coverage has also mentioned a special $1 edition with a $1,000,000 top prize, but the official page currently describes multipliers up to 10,000x.
How it compares
BLAST belongs to the same family as PokerStars Spin & Go, which also goes up to 10,000x the buy-in, and GGPoker’s Spin & Gold. WPT Global’s Global Spins draw from 2x to 6,000x and add a progressive jackpot on the top draw. Winamax Expresso runs from €0.25 to €500, with a top prize of €1,000,000 from a €2 buy-in.
The differences lie in the buy-in range, the structure and the traffic. BLAST starts at just $0.10, which makes it one of the cheapest ways to try a jackpot format. On the other hand, 888poker’s traffic is, as a rule, smaller than at the biggest networks, so at higher buy-ins you may wait longer for opponents.
888poker also runs side promotions around the format, such as daily BLAST leaderboards paid in tickets; they come and go.
Who it suits
BLAST fits players who have a few spare minutes and enjoy short, intense games. Three-handed and heads-up play with short stacks rewards solid push-fold knowledge and well-timed aggression.
It suits players who need steady results less well. Variance is huge: the big prizes are funded by the many 2x games, and a long losing streak is completely normal.
Tips
Learn basic push-fold ranges for three-handed and heads-up play; with short stacks they decide most outcomes. Choose a buy-in at which fifty losses in a row would not dent your bankroll.
Don’t chase the jackpot. A 10,000x draw is a rare bonus, not a plan. Decide before you open the lobby how much you are willing to spend in a session, and stop when you reach it, whether you are up or down.
